Until Saab's newest models roll into dealer showrooms, the company must attract customers with its 9-3 -- and to help sweeten the deal, the automaker is cutting prices on 2010 models by 4-12 percent.


With General Motors already offering $4000 on the hood of 2009 9-3s and $7000 on 2009 9-5s (at least in the Western region), reducing base prices makes sense. On the 9-3 sedan, for example, the $1410 price cut moves the price to $29,725 -- below $30,000, an important distinction for advertising...
