In case you haven't heard, Volvo is going green. The company has been pumping up its eco-friendly offerings in Europe in the past year, and the brand's North American CEO says it is poised to bring the momentum to the U.S. with diesels, plug-in hybrids, and more fuel-efficient gas engines.


"It's unclear ultimately what percentage of each is going to drive the industry," Volvo Cars North America CEO Doug Speck told Automotive News last week. "I think all car companies have to have their strategy to allow them to succeed in all three areas." [Details]
