Today General Motors announced in a press release their lineup for this years Dubai Motor Show.

Middle East and particularly GCC countries were some of the fewest markets that GM sales didn’t dropped significantly during the economic turmoil, so apparently the company is going to take this region more seriously!..

Press Release:

Dubai, United Arab Emirates – Thrilling new vehicles from Chevrolet and Cadillac will once again be cornerstones of the General Motors stand at the biennial Dubai International Motor Show, and will further embellish what will be an already impressive line up of regional reveals and new model launches.

Chevrolet models that will be seen in the flesh for the very first time in the Middle East include the game-changing Volt, an extended range electric vehicle, the 2011 Spark, a funky five-door, and the highly anticipated Corvette Stingray Concept. New launches include the all-new Cruze and Malibu sedans, as well as the iconic Camaro.

The highlight of the Cadillac stand is sure to be the dramatically designed CTS Coupe Concept, which has generated huge interest since its unveiling at the North American International Auto Show Detroit and is set to repeat the feat in Dubai where show visitors will experience its striking looks for the very first time.

Also featuring prominently at the Cadillac stand will be the all-new Cadillac SRX luxury crossover, which will be launched during the show. The SRX has already been hailed as a major competitor in the crossover segment by top Middle East motoring journalists, and will appeal to younger consumers with its dramatic and dynamic exterior design, along with a luxurious and technology-packed interior.

“The concepts and forthcoming models on show from Chevrolet and Cadillac will be the jewels in the crown of the General Motors stand at the Dubai International Motor Show this year. The full line up of cars is sure to generate a huge interest for everyone, from those checking out potential new purchases to those wishing to see and sit in stunning cars they have only seen on the big screen,” said Fadi Ghosn, Chief Marketing Officer, General Motors in the Middle East.

Alongside several customized cars and full size SUVs from Chevrolet and Cadillac that are sure to attract future car buyers, HUMMER will launch its most powerful vehicle ever built, the H3 V8, while GMC will be represented by its ever popular models which include the Yukon Denali and Sierra Denali
