May 11, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Sweden-based auto maker Volvo Car Corp will recall 3,136 S80 sedans in China because of a windshield wiper problem, according to the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (GAQSIQ), the country's quality authority, the official Xinhua News reported.
Volvo said in a report to the GAQSIQ that it decided to recall those cars because of a deviation in the Central Electronic Module (CEM) software in its S80 model, which may cause the malfunction of the windshield wipers. Read More at ChinaKnowledge.com
