The rumors are true. The Ford Mustang is headed to NASCAR where stickers bearing the Mustang name and front end details will be affixed to stock cars that otherwise bear no resemblance whatsoever to the 2010 Mustang.
Word is the intention in using the Mustang nameplate in the Nationwide Series is to help garner more exposure and help further differentiate the minor league series from the top-tier Sprint Cup.
But what about the looks of the car? The first time we saw it we winced a little a lot. What do you think? Is this stock car tube-framed car worthy to wear the Mustang name or is Steve McQueen going to come back from the dead and punch someone in the head?
