TORRANCE, Calif. — May 5, 2009 — Scion today announced the winning schools of its first-ever “High School Marketing Competition.” Wichita High School East (Kansas), Mt. Spokane High School (Washington) and Ypsilanti High School (Michigan) have all been granted the chance to select from a variety of prizes packages worth up to $7,000 that will go toward their school.
“Scion was impressed by the creative talent, strategic planning and thorough brand evaluation exhibited in each of the proposals for our ‘High School Marketing Competition,’” said Jeri Yoshizu, Scion sales promotions manager. “We are very proud of all the high schools that entered the contest and hope to possibly use the ideas provided in the proposals to reach even more young consumers across the nation.”Each high school prepared a real-world marketing campaign with original and innovative ideas to appeal to young Scion customers in their region.
