The pursuit for Saturn continues.

Depending on whom you ask, there are about two or three entities bidding for Saturn. Roger Penske of Penske Automotive wants to acquire Saturn for its dealer network, If he is successful, Penske plans to use the dealerships to sell vehicles made by other manufacturers. Two car dealers with stores throughout Michigan and other states have reportedly joined with him.

Other bidders include the Canadian auto parts manufacturer Magna International and one Telesto Ventures, which includes an Oklahoma City based equity firm Black Oak Partners as well as several Saturn dealers.

General Motors has said that it hopes to conclude a deal for Saturn by the third quarter of this year.
