When automakers have a redesign car they want to show to the world or want to introduce a brand new car, the LA Auto Show is a good place to start. Honda did just that as it showed the world the future of the company in the new Honda FC Sport Concept.
The FC Sport Concept was certainly a new look to say the least and it caused people to raise there eyebrows. The front and sides of the concept resemble those of a Lamborghini. There are no sharp edges, instead everything is curved and smooth. The back of the concept story though is something else. It seems like they took inspiration from Sonic The Hedgehog and implanted it into the design. According to the designers of the car, the entire car was based on a hexagon. The back of the concept is just that but it seems like someone stretched it out as much as possible. I personally was not a fan of this feature.
The top of the car is the same way when it comes to soft edges, except instead of having a hard top roof, you have a hard top glass. You have a full sun burner on top and can see the blue skies like never before. The glass is a very dark one so it makes sure that you don't get sunburn and people can't see inside your car very easily.
The interior is something out of this world. The car sits three people total, putting the driver right in the middle while one passenger fits on each side, I know it sounds crazy but interestingly enough looks pretty cool. Along with that the interior is also a futuristic and spacious one.
Engine was not mentioned at the debut. Being that it's a concept it wasn't very surprising to me but they did mention that if indeed this concept were to ever make it into production, the engine will be a fuel cell engine. The fuel cell engine will give the vehicle superior performance and fuel efficiency.
So with the pictures right in front of you, what do you think? Do you like the design? If you had the money would you buy it?
