Back in August, GM had a recall of about 900,000 vehicles, a recall that could have had sever consequences if the problem got out of hand. Now GM wants Microheat to pay.

The recall notice from GM was due to heated windshield wire fluid. This issue can cause a short-circuit and create a fire. Microheat is the company that supplied the parts for GM and GM states it is there job to fix the problem there parts have caused. Microheat at this point has filed for bankruptcy and is still in talks with GM.
