Katech Matches 2009 Chevy Corvette's ZR1 Engine Performance

The 2009 ZR1 is priced a $103,000, nice price for a supercar. However in today's economy, not everyone, including me, have 100 grand in our pockets just waiting to be wasted on a supercar. This is where Katech comes in.

Katech has developed an engine called the Air Attack LS7 which is said to match the performance of the stock ZR1. The LS7 is rated at 750hp and 700lb-ft of torque. To put this into perspective, the Air Attack LS7 Supercharged produces almost 100hp more than the Ferrari Enzo and around 112hp more than the ZR1.

Now the best part about this is the price. As mentioned before, the price for a brand new 2009 Chevy Corvette ZR1 is 103,000. The price for the LS7, which fits any standard corvette, is only 37,000 dollars. Now that's a big difference in money for the same amount of performance.
