No, the Dodge Challenger SRT10 concept doesn't have a Hemi - but that's a good thing. Instead of the 6.1-liter V-8 found in the SRT8, this one-off special has the heart of a Viper.
Sitting between the front fenders is the Viper's 8.4-liter aluminum-block V-10, good for a whopping 600 hp and 560 lb-ft of torque. That's plenty of power, although we'd like to see how it moves the Challenger's 4140-lb heft around.Thankfully, the concept - a one-off build for the SEMA show - isn't just placing the massive motor inside the car. The folks at SRT also fitted larger brakes and adjustable Bilstein shocks at all corners.Designers also saw fit to equip the car with custom 20-inch wheels, a front spoiler patterned after the Viper ACR, and a carbon-fiber shaker hood. Inside, we're told the car incorporates other Viper cues - notably carbon-fiber sport seats and a red dash-mounted start button.Although this car will definitly be at the SEMA show which takes place in November, don't hold your breath waiting on this car to actually reach production!Source: AutomobileMag
