Daimler, owner of Maybach, states that it will not kill the brand because it's not losing any money. Should Bentley and Rolls-Royce be worried?
Maybach was created to compete with the most luxurious of brands, Bentley and Rolls-Royce. However only 146 car were sold last year and so far no new production or concept have hit the Auto Shows or news for that matter. So what is Maybach waiting for?
Well the latest news on Maybach is that they are planning on releasing a handful of 62S Landaulet, which is a convertible Maybach, that will hit the streets in December of this year. Asking price, $1.35 million dollars for each, anyone have some spare change I can borrow?
