The Nissan GT-R V-Spec Gets No Love From Paris

It was stated before that the Nissan GT-R V-Spec was going to make its debut at the Paris Motor Show. Turns out it didn't, what the heck?

Well as usual politics and money got involved. Turns out Nissan wants to make sure they sell plenty more of the original Nissan GT-R's in order to make more money. They have changed the debut date to the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show. Was this a smart move by Nissan? Most likely.

The new statistics and results of the GT-R V-Spec will be showed at the debut. However, we do know that the new version will have  a new braking system, lowered suspension, new carbon-fiber accessories (due to this the car will drop 250 kg) and more power, up to 530 hp.
