The SUV and Truck industry suffered tremendously with the rise in gas prices and weak economy. The solution to this problem? Make them hybrids!
The 2009 Escalade Hybrid is the first large luxury SUV that is, you guessed it, a hybrid. This hybrid achieves 20mpg city, 21mpg highway, that's 50 percent more mileage than a regular Escalade.
"Escalade, already the sales and style leader among large luxury SUV's, now adds the desirability of a fuel-saving, technically advanced hybrid system," said Jim Taylor, Cadillac general manager. "The arrival of Escalade Hybrid means that consumers can now use less fossil fuel, reduce emissions and still enjoy the benefits of a full-size luxury SUV."
The cost for this beauty is only 71,685 dollars. That's only 3,600 dollars more compared to the Escalade Premium Equipped.
